Capital One Cardholders Get Early Access To Taylor Swift Concert Tickets

by joeheg

One of the biggest concert tours of 2023 was just announced. Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” will visit stadiums across the United States from March until August.

And while many concerts provide exclusive access to American Express, Citi, or Chase cardholders, this tour is presented by Capital One.

That means Capital One cardholders will have exclusive access to tickets starting on November 15th at 2 PM local time at the venue.

It’s hard to believe but Taylor Swift’s self-titled debut album came out in 2006. So many Swifties (read: the Taylor Swift equivalents of Monkeemaniacs and Beliebers) who were begging their parents to take them to concerts back then are just as excited about this tour as their kids.

If you’re not a Capital One cardholder, you can sign up for Ticketmaster Verified Fan access for a chance to get tickets on November 15th at 10 AM. It’s by invitation only.

But Capital One cardholders don’t have to wait for an invitation. Here’s some info about the process from Capital One:

Here’s What You Need To Know About Purchasing Capital One Cardholder Presale Tickets:

  • When visiting the ticketing website, use the first 6 digits of your Capital One card number to gain entry to the Capital One Cardholder Presale.
  • You must use an eligible Capital One Visa or Mastercard credit or debit card to complete your purchase. Excludes Capital One issued private label cards.
  • Supplies are limited. Capital One Cardholder Presale tickets will be available as of November 15, 2022 at 2 p.m. local time of the venue until November 17, 2022 at 10 p.m. local time of the venue or until they are sold out.

So there’s no guarantee that you’ll get a ticket during the presale but having limited access with a credit card (and requiring you to pay with a Capital One card) will cut down on the number of people able to game the system.

Cardholders are limited to 6 tickets per transaction.

In addition, new applicants who haven’t received their cards aren’t eligible for the exclusive access presale.

If you miss out on the presales, general access starts on November 18th at 10 AM but you’re as lucky to get tickets then as people trying to buy World of Hyatt packages during this year’s Daily Getaways promotion.
