When you make a reservation for a hotel, you usually have the option to add in a special request. That might be something as simple as a crib in the room, a fridge for medication, or maybe a bottle of bubbly to celebrate a special event.
Some people will put in special requests just for the fun of it. You know, just silly stuff, “just because.” Here are some great examples.
Anyway, an Australian who goes by the name tommymodeactivated on TikTok has been posting what happens every time he makes one of those “fun” special requests when he stays at a hotel.
- In one, he asked the hotel staff to draw a picture of what they thought he looked like.
- At another hotel, this time in Brisbane, he requested a photo of a specific celebrity to be in his room.
- While at the Intercontinental Adelaide, he asked if the staff could print out a recipe for him (he admitted it was an odd request but he had his reasons LOL).
- Back in Brisbane, Tommy included a PDF of a puzzle with his request – the request was for them to fill it out (they did a really good job, considering they were Australian – and before anyone yells at me about that, look at the puzzle 😉 ).
My favorite one though, was this. It showed a hotel staff (Novotel in Melbourne) that is truly willing to play along. Take a look:
