One of my most favorite attractions at Walt Disney World, and especially at Disneyland and Tokyo Disneyland, is Space Mountain. It was the first “big” roller coaster I ever went on and, as a 12-year-old, it was very exciting.
It wasn’t until years (decades, really) later that I learned about the history and evolution of Space Mountain. The original concept and various design changes back in the 60s. How it was supposed to open at DL but wound up being delayed and then opening at WDW first, followed by an opening at DL a couple of years later. A roller coaster at a Jersey Shore amusement park was undergoing a safety check not long ago when its two water-filled crash dummies fell off the ride and onto the roof of the hotel next door. The VP of the amusement park says the coaster is still 100% safe.

Universal Orlando Resort’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter is putting the finishing touches on its newest attraction, a roller coaster called Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure.
Universal has been periodically doling out photos and information about the attraction, which is set to open on June 13, but now they’ve released the best stuff yet – point of view video footage!
