Southwest Just Gave A Free Nintendo Switch To Every Passenger On This Flight

Nintendo is scheduled to set up a huge booth at the San Diego Comic-Con, the grandaddy of all Comic Cons, held at the San Diego Convention Center on July 18-21. Their focus will be on its new game, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order. However it will also have a Nintendo Gaming Lounge at the San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina, which is right next door to the convention center. The lounge will be open to the public and will offer playable games such as Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, Pokémon Sword and Shield, Super Mario Maker 2, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring the Legend of Zelda, and The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening.

Southwest Airlines will be at the lounge with a Super Mario Maker 2 contest that attendees can enter. Winners can potentially win a Nintendo Switch + Super Mario Maker 2 bundle.

However, not everyone who attends Comic-Con lives in San Diego – they have to travel to get there. And apparently not everyone has to “win” in order to get that Nintendo Switch + Super Mario Maker 2 bundle. And that’s where things got interesting for some airline passengers…
