Happy Wednesday to all of our travel friends, both near and far! Here are some articles we’ve read from other bloggers (and other sources) that we think you may like, as well, so we’re passing them along.
Every time I experience or hear about another scam that some UBER drivers participate in, I think I’ve heard it all. So far there’s been:
And these are all things we’ve experienced or others, who also follow the seven rules of being a good Uber/Lyft passenger, have.
But nope, I haven’t heard it all yet, because I just heard of yet another scam invented by ride sharing drivers…
On Friday, Hyatt launched a promotion for their Chase co-brand credit card holders offering a 10% rebate on point redemptions. I’m figuring that you’ve already heard because not just one, two, three, four or five but a minimum of six different sites have written about it. So there’s no need for me to rehash the details.
If you want to sign up or read the official terms, here’s the link to the Hyatt website.

Seeing the news of the promotion, I went to give it a closer look.
Maybe it’s just me but I don’t see what all the fuss is about.

Almost everyone has had to fly when they’re sick. It makes an uncomfortable situation even more miserable but you usually get through it OK.
However there are always questions about flying when you have a cold. Should you? Shouldn’t you? What can people do to not be miserable when flying with a cold? What if you’re flying while sick and have kids with you? Can you ask for a refund or reschedule until you feel better? Hopefully this post will help answer a lot of these questions.
