The Brand New Shopping Outlet In New York City

When you think of New York City, most people think of stuff in Manhattan. Times Square. The Statue of Liberty. Central Park.

But some people think of something else. Shopping. Not so much the crap shops that line the tourist areas (but hey, where else are you going to find a bobblehead of whatever current politician giving you the finger?), but outlet malls.

The problem was that the two outlet malls closest to NYC were a royal pain to get to. If you didn’t have access to a car, you’d have to take bus from the Port Authority to get to either Woodbury Common Premium Outlets (it’s about an hour north of Manhattan) or to Jersey Gardens (it’s about 35 minutes southwest of Manhattan). And, of course, you’d have to pay $6.50 per person in each direction to take those buses.

Welp, a brand new outlet in New York City has just changed that narrative, and it’s just a 25 minute free ferry ride away.

The Best Credit Card To Pay For Online Music And Satelite Radio Subscriptions

Remember the time when radio was free? True, we had to listen to commercials but that was a little price to pay to listen to the same 10 songs over and over and over again.

Today, we can listen to whatever music we want, wherever we want. At home, at work, in the car, at the gym or even when while traveling anywhere around the world, our music is only as far away as our connected device. This convenience comes at a price, a subscription (or multiple subscriptions) to music streaming services. Isn’t that worth not having to listen to annoying commercials or that one song that’s amazingly popular but you just can’t stand?

Like any recurring expense, you should be trying to maximize the rewards you earn for all the money you spend on online music subscriptions and satellite radio. There used to be one card to rule them all in this category, and it doesn’t even have an annual fee.

The Best Credit Cards To Maximize Grocery Store/Supermarket Spending

According to USA Today, the average American family spends 10% of their income to pay for food, with that spending split almost evenly between eating out and eating at home. Plenty of credit cards provide bonuses for spending on restaurants, fast food and coffee shops but far fewer provide a bonus when buying groceries.

For a spending category that, on average, is 5% of your income, it makes sense to have a card that maximizes the points earned on those purchases. If you don’t want to have a card just for grocery spending, you should at least know which one of your cards will earn you the most amount of points possible.

These bonuses do not include grocery purchases made at Walmart, Target or any discount club like Sam’s Club, Costco or BJ’s.
