Southwest Airlines is having a flash sale on flights to (or from) various beach destinations for this winter.
For flights booked with Southwest from August 30th to September 1st, 2022, you can save 25% on select continental U.S. flights to/from Florida, Hawaii, San Juan, Puerto Rico, and international flights to Mexico, the Caribbean and Central America flown between November 1, 2022, and February 15, 2023. Interisland Hawaii travel is excluded. There are a limited number of discounted seats available and not all days have discounted fares. Travel is blacked out 11/18-11/29/2022 and 12/16/2022-1/9/2023
To get the discounted fare, enter the promotion code BEACHES25.
For example, I looked for non-stop flights from Orlando to New Orleans. When using the promotion code, the discounted fare is displayed on the website with the original fare above it, crossed out. For this date, only the earlier flight had the cheaper pricing available.
The Terms and Conditions say that the discount is for “new bookings only.” However, since Southwest doesn’t charge to cancellation fees, you should be able to cancel your old reservation and rebook with the discount using the credit (saving whatever’s left for another trip, since credits no longer expire).
