Traveling This Summer? Book Your Airport Parking Spot Now!

by joeheg

Hopefully, you’ve already booked, or are at least getting ready to book, your summer travels. If so, you’ve noticed that airfares, hotels and rental car prices are all higher than ever.

After getting over the sticker shock, there’s one more thing you might want to do right now. If you’re driving to the airport, you really should book your parking spot right away.

If you use one of the off-site airport lots, which could save you some money, you can make a reservation on their websites. Our favorite lot, Fast Park & Relax, has the following warning:

I’ve already forgotten to book parking for a busy travel time and had to scramble to find a lot with an opening.

I checked Twitter, and several lots are almost full for this holiday weekend.

Several other Fast Park locations will go “reservation only” over the summer.

Other lots still had spaces available, but those are farther away from the airport, charge more, have less frequent shuttles or a combination of all three.

Since the Terminal C parking lot is already open, Orlando Airport has parking spaces, but they charge almost the same price as parking at the main terminal.

Another option is to take advantage of an airport hotel with stay & parking rates.

Whichever you choose, it makes sense to lock it in now before things fill up.
