You Can Now Pay For Hotels & Rental Cars With Crypto

by joeheg

Travel companies have been hesitant to accept cryptocurrencies. In fact, no major US airline, hotel chain or rental car company accepts crypto payments.

However, there’s now a way to use your cryptocurrency, stable coin and even meme coin to pay for hotels and rental cars.

I’ve previously mentioned the Club 1 Hotels website and how you can occasionally find discounted Disney World hotels on the site.

They’ve recently announced that they now accept over 50 different cryptocurrencies as payment for hotel and rental car bookings on the site.

Invalid request error occurred.

I went to make a dummy booking on the site and when I got to the payment page, crypto was an option.

They do stipulate that refunds for crypto payments will be made as a USD credit in your Club 1 Hotels account.

So if you have any Dogecoin hanging around, you’re now able to use it to pay for your next hotel room.
