IHG is out with their newest promo and it’s a bit of a bummer. No matter how lame the promotion is, you should always earn as many points as possible for your travel.
IHG’s “2X Unlimited” is exactly what it says. You’ll earn 2X base points on qualifying stays after enrolling in the offer until March 31, 2022.
IHG Rewards members earn 10 points per dollar spent at most IHG hotels, except for Staybridge Suites and Candlewood Suites, where you earn 5 points per dollar. The bonus points awarded are on the base number of points earned and do not include extra points earned because of loyalty status level.
You can register until the end of the promotion but only stays after registration will earn bonus points. Here’s a link to register.

This promo isn’t going to cause people to move stays to IHG but if you’re going to be staying anyway, you might as well take advantage of the extra points.
