Martha Stewart has done it all. She’s a retail businesswoman, writer and television personality. She’s the founder of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, where she’s been involved in publishing, broadcasting, merchandising and e-commerce. She’s friends with Snoop Dogg. She even went to federal prison for 5 months for insider trading, and made a comeback!
She’s built an empire of home-making and hospitality for the past 40 years. So what’s next for the 81-year-old Stewart? How about opening her first restaurant at the Paris hotel in Las Vegas?
Caesars Entertainment recently announced the restaurant, which will be called The Bedford.

A 194-seat farm-to-table eatery will be Stewart’s first foray into the restaurant business.
The Bedford by Martha Stewart will be a fully-immersive concept designed to bring Stewart’s famed country farmhouse in Bedford, New York to life. They plan to offer guests an authentic glimpse of how Stewart lives and entertains in her own home.
Stewart is, of course, designing the restaurant’s decor, which will have a neutral color palette that will work with four seasons of color.
“It’s a charming restaurant,” she told People Magazine. “It’s completely fashioned after the winter house at my farm in Bedford, where I basically live. There’s a kitchen, a dining room, a brown room, a green room — it’s very similar in the finishes of my home, and the furnishings are all kind of replicas of a very familiar space to many, many, many Americans. And it’s intimate, yet large enough for people to really enjoy.”
A menu is still being decided but Stewart says, “I’m picking my family and friend’s favorites, things I have been known for — like wonderful breads and baked goods — and dishes you might not find in other restaurants, like pastas and soups that are unique to the Martha brand.”
“I just want to make sure that everybody gets a taste of the delicious food that has long come out of my kitchen. You’re going to love it.”
The Bedford by Martha Stewart at Paris Las Vegas is expected to open in Spring 2022. For more information, visit www.caesars.com/paris-las-vegas.
