How I’m Going To Double Dip On A Marriott Bonvoy AMEX Offer

One of the best ways to get value from an American Express card is to take advantage of AMEX Offers. In my experience, the easiest way to get money back is when AMEX provides offers back on hotel stays. We’ve saved $80 on a New York stay by splitting the charge over two AMEX cards.

So I was thrilled when I read about a new AMEX offer on Miles to Memories where I could get a one-time $50 statement credit by using your enrolled card to spend a minimum of $250+ USD in one or more transactions on room rate and room charges, when you pay for your stay at participating properties in the Marriott Bonvoy® portfolio from 8/12/2021 to 10/12/2021.

I have a Marriott stay in the near future that we’re paying for with cash because Marriott doesn’t know how many days there are in a week.

I enrolled both Sharon’s Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant AMEX and my AMEX Bonvoy card in the AMEX offer. I’ll put $250 of our stay on one card the remainder of the stay on the other card.

That way, we’ll get back $100 of our already deeply discounted hotel stay. While some people constantly hate Marriott, this is why I haven’t totally given up on the program and my Marriott co-brand AMEX cards.
