If the appeal of protection from a potentially deadly virus isn’t tempting enough for you to get your COVID vaccine, Kripsy Kreme is willing to sweeten the deal.
The chain is offering people in the United States a free doughnut every single day for the rest of the year, as long as they show their fully completed COVID vaccine card.
There are no strings attached; no extra purchases required, or anything like that. Just go to any of Krispy Kreme’s 369 doughnut shops in the U.S., any and every day through December 31, 2021, show your completed COVID vaccine card, and you’ll get a free original glazed doughnut.
If you’re lucky, you’ll get there when the HOT DOUGHNUTS NOW sign is on.
That’s not the only cool thing Krispy Kreme is doing. They’re also giving their employees up to four hours of paid time off to get their COVID vaccines. That’s not to say they’re making the vaccines mandatory for their workers – they’re not. But if their employees chose to get vaccinated, they’ll get the extra hours of PTO to make sure they have time to do so.
Oh, and if you choose to not get a COVID vaccine, or can’t get one because of medical issues? Krispy Kreme has got you covered. From their website:
We understand that choosing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine is a highly personal decision. We advise all employees and guests to consult with their healthcare provider regarding whether to obtain a COVID-19 vaccination and which vaccine to receive after reviewing the available information. If you have made the personal decision to not receive the COVID vaccine, please visit us on Mondays, 3/29/21 – 5/24/21, to receive a free Original Glazed® doughnut and a medium brewed coffee to get your week off to a good start.
