From our travels over the years, I’ve amassed quite a collection of toiletries. I mainly stick with the soaps, but have a fair share of shampoo and hand lotion bottles, as well.
Since we’re not traveling, for the first time in forever, I’m using up items faster than I can replace them. That’s particularly true for the smaller hand soaps since handwashing has now become one of the favorite hobbies in our household.
When I pull out a new bar or bottle, I’ll try to remember what hotel I got it from. Let me tell you, I’m horrible at this game.
I know that if I’m looking at some Neutrogena product, I probably picked that up from a Hilton Garden Inn. Anything with a Mickey Mouse on it was gotten from a Disney-owned hotel. The ones I found this week? I have no idea where we got them.
The shampoo I was finishing up was from the Salvatore Ferragamo Tuscan Soul line.
This shampoo has been treating my coronahair well. I was sad to finish it up.
Since the product line is higher end, I imagine we were given this at one of the nicer hotels we’ve stayed in.
Once that’s finished, I have this packet from Hask Cactus Water to use next.
Since this is a “weightless moisture shampoo,” I have no idea what it will do to my hair. I have even less idea where we got it from.
Here was the next bath bar I pulled out. FWIW, I kinda like this one. Anyone have an idea where it’s from? This is an easier one than the previous two.
Yep, it’s from a Sheraton. Probably from the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel.
Blended with Shea Butter and Vitamin E to revive and cleanse skin, the Le Grand Bain bath bar is infused with signature notes of energizing Citron and calming Vetiver.
If I wanted, I could even buy more from the Sheraton Store.
It’s not hard to guess the origin of this final hand soap.
What’s impressive is that we stayed at The Westin Tokyo back in 2005. We paid for three nights using 36,000 SPG points (yes, I still did have the confirmation email). Ah, the good old days. Now standard nights cost 60,000 Marriott Bonvoy points each.
I’m glad to report that the soap still works and it smells pretty, too. 🙂
I don’t care what anyone else says, for the future, we’re going to #stayhealthy #stayathome #washyourhands
