Going To WDW? This Is THE Stroller For The Little Princess In Your Life (And Now It’s Disney Park Size Compliant!)

by SharonKurheg

Being a princess has been a part of many little girls’ imaginations, probably since the concept of princesses began, forever ago. Disney has tapped into that love with a plethora of prince and princess items, from clothing to books to movies to toys to everything in between. About the only thing Disney doesn’t offer is a stroller fit for a princess (or prince!) at its parks.

Fortunately, someone else has picked up the slack…

We’ve reported about quite a few strollers that are available for rental in Central Florida, from what Disney has to offer to what’s available outside theme park property, and even the cheapest place to rent those popular Keenz strollers without necessarily spending an arm and a leg. But this is, I think, the fanciest stroller I’ve ever seen!

Fantasy Strollers is based out of Central Florida and rents strollers shaped like a royal carriage. You can reserve a fantasy stroller for eight hours, with, among other options, the ability to purchase additional hours of usage.

Each fantasy stroller is equipped with two throne chairs designed to fit two children between age 2 and 9. It has built-in lights with an array of color choices, retractable seat belts, foot brakes, solar powered carriage lanterns, 4 custom heart rims and build-in bag holders. It even converts into a bed!

Best of all, with Disney’s announcement of size and style limitations on strollers, these fantasy strollers have been redesigned to be within regulations. From their website:

Disney’s Stroller Compliance

Disney’s stroller size limit effective May 1, 2019 is 31 inches wide by 52 inches long.

The Carriage Stroller is measured 19 inches wide X 49 inches length X 45 inches height

Whats the difference between the Fantasy Strollers and stroller wagons?

Stroller wagons can be either pushed or pulled. Strollers are not capable of being pulled. Wagons are designed to pull multiple items with its flat surface. The carriage is classified as a tandem stroller and is not capable of being pulled.

The carriages are handmade and not intended to collapse, so drop off and pick up location are scheduled when you make your reservation (the drop off location for Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom is at the Transportation and Ticket Center. If you’re staying at a hotel on the monorail line, they can drop the stroller off at your hotel). There’s also a premium package available, wherein a chauffeur picks you and your party up at your hotel (within a 10-mile radius of the Magic Kingdom), drops you and the fantasy stroller off, and then picks up/drops off at your hotel at the end of the day.

Heads up that these strollers are VERY popular and it’s recommended to make reservations 6-8 months in advance.
