The Airport Where You Can Be Immersed In A Harry Potter Christmas

by SharonKurheg

Lots of airports are a whole lot of fun during the Christmas season. Sure, some offer local entertainment, but others go a whole lot further. Munich Airport, for example, opens a seasonal Christmas Market, complete with 2 ice rinks and nearly 500 real trees. But frankly, I think Singapore’s Changi Airport may have them all beat this year because they’ve brought The Wizarding World of Harry Potter into THREE of its terminals, with what they call “A Wizarding World Holiday at Changi.”

This isn’t the first time we’ve written about Singapore’s Changi Airport. They’re the ones with what I think is one of the most fun things you could ever do in an airport. They’re a great place to kill time at an airport. Not surprisingly, they’re also on our list of amazing things you can do at an airport (they’re also the airport where a baggage handler purposely sent hundreds of suitcases to the wrong destinations, but we won’t mention that).

So to hear that they’ve recreated scenes from the Wizarding World at Terminals 1, 2 and 3? Well, my heart just started beating a little faster and it made me wish Singapore wasn’t so far away. They’ve got photo ops, games, a snow and light show, lenticular photo opportunities, surprise giveaways, and, of course, lots of merchandise.

I mean, really you guys…LOOK AT THIS!
