Frontier Airlines Elite 20K Status After Two Flights

by joeheg

Check your email because today Sharon and I both received offers to earn Frontier Elite 20K status after taking two round trip flights. Considering that you’d usually need to fly 20,000 miles on Frontier (or spend $20,000 on the Frontier Credit Card) to achieve this status, it’s a pretty good deal.  This may be a targeted offer because the emails contained a link specific to our Frontier Miles accounts.

(Update August 7, 2018. the offer is now available to everyone at THIS LINK.)

Here are the details of the offer:

  2. Book and fly before 10/15/18.
  3. Enjoy your complimentary Elite Status, just in time for the holidays!

All flights must be completed by 11:59 pm EST on October 15, 2018 for nonstop flights. Registration required by completing the form above and providing all information. Account must be registered 48 hours prior to first qualifying flight. Elite 20k will be reflected on a registered account within 48 hours of final qualifying flight. FRONTIER Miles℠ number must be provided at the time of booking for flights to be considered qualifying for this promotion. Award tickets or free tickets of any kind are not considered qualifying for this promotion.  All other ticket terms and conditions apply.

What do you get by being an Frontier Elite 20K member?

  • Free Carry On Bag ($35 Value)
  • Free Seat Assignment
  • Family Pooling of Miles
  • Stretch Seating (at Check-In if available)
  • Priority Boarding
  • Waived Award Booking Fees

This status is suited to a business traveler as it includes a carry on bag (not checked bag) and seat assignment only for the passenger. Anyone else traveling would need to pay for a seat assignment and baggage fees.

Depending on how soon you take your two flights, you’d get to keep your Frontier Elite 20K status for anywhere between two to five months. If you’re going to fly Frontier anyway and don’t currently have status, the free carry on benefit and seat assignments could really save you some money over the course of a couple of flights.

We don’t have any flights planned between now and October that we haven’t already booked so this offer won’t help us any. I did register to show Frontier I’m interested in their offers and that I read their emails. 🙂
