“Guardians of the Galaxy – Awesome Live Mix!” Is LIVE! And We Have The Whole Show On Video!

by SharonKurheg

Joe and I just got back from Epcot and I gotta tell you – the brand new Guardians of the Galaxy – Awesome Mix Live! show TOTALLY rocked the audience’s socks off on its opening day!

Hailed as part of Walt Disney World’s “Incredible Summer,” Star-Lord and Gamora from Guardians of the Galaxy host and perform in this rockin’ 20-minute cosmic show that showcases popular classic songs from Awesome Mix Volumes 1 & 2. The concert also features a 7-piece alien band from Xander (the Xandarian Chamber Orchestra) and the entire show has audiences singing along and dancing in their seats. Don’t believe me? Here’s the entire, unedited show. Enjoy!

Guardians of the Galaxy – Awesome Live Mix! will have 5 performances per day and will run through August 19 at the American Gardens Theater at Epcot.

Don’t forget that the Guardians of the Galaxy -inspired roller coaster is currently in the midst of construction in the space where Universe of Energy used to be. Scheduled to open in time for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World Resort in 2021, this one-of-a-kind family attraction will  be one of the the world’s longest enclosed roller coasters.

Wow, there sure are LOTS of exciting things happening at WDW!
