Universal Orlando Introduces Its First Two Value Resorts

by SharonKurheg

Universal Orlando just announced two budget-friendly resort hotels that will be built on their property – and these two will be be part of Universal’s brand new Value hotel, with rates as low as $73!

From www.universalorlando.com:

Universal Orlando’s first Value properties introduce extra affordability to your Universal vacation. Surfside Inn and Suites and Dockside Inn and Suites are on the way. The vibe at these hotels is relaxed and easy, with a fun surf and beach theme woven throughout.

Amenities will include three pools, two food courts offering breakfast, lunch, dinner, and coffee bars, plus poolside bars, fitness rooms, car rental facilities, and more.

A bunch of the rooms at these new hotels will be spacious enough to accommodate the whole family. In fact, more than half the rooms across both resorts (1,450 of the 2,800 guest rooms) will be 2-bedroom suites that will include two separate bedrooms, a kitchenette and dining area, as well as bathroom with separate shower and vanity. The 2-bedroom suites will start at $111 per night and sleep up to six people.

Surfside Inn and Suites and Dockside Inn and Suites will include all the benefits of staying at a Universal Orlando Resort hotel, including early park admission to Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure or Universal’s Volcano Bay and free shuttle transportation to and from the three theme parks and Universal CityWalk, as well as resort-wide charging privileges.

With the addition of two more hotels, Universal Orlando Resort will offer a total of 9,000 guest rooms, when combined with the 600-room Universal’s Aventura Hotel that opens in August of 2018.

Surfside Inn and Suites is scheduled to open first, in summer 2019, and Dockside Inn and Suites will be open for business in 2020.
