Sea World’s New Paradise Nights Dinner & Dolphin Show at Discovery Cove

by SharonKurheg

Orlando’s Sea World at Discovery Cove is upping the ante with a brand new dinner and dolphin encounter called Paradise Nights, and it sounds like what could be the perfect ending to a perfect day at the Orlando-based mammal park, oceanarium, animal theme park and rehabilitation center.

You’ll spend the evening in a lush tropical environment that includes live musicians and up-close encounters with the park’s resident animals from South America, Australia, and Africa, who you may see mingling among attendees before the meal.

Tropically-inspired and sustainably sourced dishes are featured at the all-inclusive buffet on the beach. Entrées include pan-seared salmon, Hawaiian chicken, and a carving station with herb roasted beef (the kid buffet offers chicken nuggets, french fries and macaroni & cheese). Signature cocktails, beer and wine are also included in the dining reservation.

Just before the make-your-own dessert opportunity, as the perfect finale to your evening, you’ll be treated to a special dolphin presentation while the Discovery Cove training team will provide a glimpse into the world of dolphins. After the presentation, you’ll have the opportunity to speak one-on-one with the trainers to learn more about the dolphins and their care.

Paradise Nights is available on select nights (right now it looks like select weekend nights from early March through late May) and you don’t have to have spent the day at Discovery Cove to participate. Dining reservations for the 2-hour long event start at $65 per adult and $19 per child (ages 3 to 9 years old).
